This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which BOOKSPARK MEDIA PRIVATE LIMITED (Hereinafter referred to as "Company”) collects, uses, stores, maintains, secures and discloses information collected from you, the User, whether personally or on behalf of any juristic person (“You”/”you”) from your access to and use of the “Magic 20 Tamil” Mobile Application as well as any other media forms, media channels, websites or related mobile applications, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Mobile App”). This Privacy Policy is a part of and shall be read with the Terms of use.

A. The Company may use the Personal Information and Non- Personal Information that the company collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for the Company’s newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, contact the Company, surf the Mobile App, or use certain other Mobile App features, etc. in the following ways: 

The Company may collect information which is capable of identifying an individual or which may be connected to the individual (“Personal Information”) such as name, email address from the Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the Mobile App, register on the Mobile App, contact the Company, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources the Company make available on the Mobile App. 

The Company may additionally collect such information which cannot directly identify an individual (“Non- Personal Information”) about Users whenever they interact with the Mobile App. Such Non-Personal Information may include language preferences, the browser name, the type of device and technical information about Users, means of connection to our Mobile App, such as the operating system and the internet service providers utilized, geographical location and other similar information. 

The Company does not take responsibility for the Data collected by Third Party Links and Services which may be available in the Mobile App. You are advised to go through the Policies of the concerned Third Party. 

Your information will be retained with the Mobile App as long as it is needed by the Company to provide services to you. If you wish to cancel your account or request that the Company no longer uses your information to provide services, you may contact the Company at the E- mail ID mentioned below. The Company will promptly delete the information as requested. The Mobile App will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with its legal obligations, resolution of disputes, management of Users and enforce its agreements or for other business purposes. When the Company has no ongoing legitimate business which needs to process your information, the Company will either delete or anonymize it. 

This Mobile App, in compliance with applicable norms, has a number of security measures to ensure there is no loss, misuse or illegal alteration of information collected from its users. Personal Information and Usage Information that the Company collects is securely stored within our databases, and the Company uses standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. The Company cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can the Company guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication and any information you transmit to the Mobile App, you do at your own risk. If, despite our best efforts, an unauthorised breach of our security measures occurs, resulting in the unauthorised access, duplication, removal or alteration of any Personal Information, Third Party Information, or Usage Information, the Company, its directors, officers, employees, promoters, or affiliates will not be held responsible for any loss resulting from such breach. 

In the event that Personal Information is compromised as a breach of security, the Company will notify the supervisory authority in compliance with applicable law, of the breach coming to its notice. 

By consenting to this Privacy Policy, you are expressly granting the Company the right to collect, share, transfer, store, retain, disseminate or use the Personal Information/Usage Information collected by the Company from your usage of the Mobile App in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy. You may, at any time, withdraw consent for the collection or processing of Personal Information/Usage Information by sending an email at the E-mail ID mentioned below. The Company shall endeavour to delete or anonymize the data collected from you on such request. 

The Company has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. The Company encourages Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how the company are helping to protect the Personal Information which the Company may collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of any modifications. 

This Policy is published and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India as amended from time to time, without reference to conflict of laws principles. The courts in Chennai shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to determine any disputes arising in relation to, or under, this Privacy Policy.
